HOW WE DO IT?

We, at Anthelion School of Art, intend to build an Art Ecosystem with – Art Classes (by extremely talented artist Mentor Group), Art Workshops (by highly creative Artists & Sculptors), Art Exhibitions, Art Camps and Online Art Gallery. Presently we are operating in Kolkata (Calcutta), India and intend to spread across the country and globe soon. We have our center here where in all the above mentioned activities are be carried out. Besides we also bring in technology by creating an Online Platform to learn and practice Art, share and mentor Artists and create business for the professional art community.

This is our first center in Kolkata where we conduct Art Classes with highly renowned Art Mentors and many Art Associates. We have 3 classes per day (11 am to 1 pm; 2 pm to 4 pm; 5 pm to 7 pm) for 6 days a week (Tuesday to Sunday). Students (of any age, background or expertise) can choose their convenient class timing and enroll on first-cum-first-serve basis. Every individual (whether a kid, student, young professional, senior professional/entrepreneur or senior citizens) are attended by our counselors in person and are guided by our mentors as per their specific interest and requirement.

We also have Online Courses for kids (8-12 years) and adults (13-80 years) [13 years is adult in Fine Arts as per our way of thinking]; where people can join from any corner of the world. Here we conduct classes through WhatsApp Groups (For Assignments) and Google Meet / ZOOM / WhatsApp Video (for Video Classes).

Every subject, coverage and medium, every activity of our school has Art Therapy aspect embedded in it, that makes our classes unique. Though we don’t believe that one’s creativity can be certified by another, we provide “Diploma in Fine Arts” from our own school without any influence from any other board, university, association or Parishad. We have designed Anthelion School of Art as a true Center of Wellness & Creativity.

Anthelion School of Art has introduced “Online Certificate Course” in Fine Arts from May 2020. Now anyone (between age 18 – 80 years) from anywhere in the world can register for our Online Program. From April 2022, we now introduce “Diploma in Fine Arts” as a separate Four Years Program. Currently we have only TWO Programs in Online Section – CERTIFICATE COURSE (Min. One Year) & DIPLOMA IN FINE ARTS (can be done in Three or Four Years).

DURATION:

Professional Certificate Course (General Classes): Online

There is no definite time period of learning in the Professional Certificate Course Program, but minimum One Year of break free learning is absolutely necessary to be considered for evaluation and receiving a Certificate. Class format is as follows. You may keep learning as long as you may deem necessary (Typically 4 years for applying for exam).

Professional Diploma in Fine Arts: Online

This course shall be of 150 weeks (6 semesters of 6 months each) in which student shall be allotted one mentor who shall guide the student thoroughly. Most of the interactions shall be happening through WhatsApp and hence having a WhatsApp number is very important.

NOTE: The duration of 150 weeks is tentative and shall depend on the student. As and when the student feels that he/she has completed the syllabus and is ready for the examination, the student may apply for the same. We shall conduct the exam and provide the certificate. No Breaks are possible in Diploma in Fine Arts program.

PROCESS (Class Format):

For both the “Professional Certificate Course” and “Diploma in Fine Arts“, the learning pattern is same. “Diploma in Fine Arts” has some additional features and syllabus-centric focus.

Every week student shall receive TWO sets of assignments through WhatsApp which he/she shall complete, take photograph and submit back through WhatsApp and shall also receive feedback on. But after the two sets of assignments, the student will also get an One-on-One Video Call (tentative 20-25 min.) through WhatsApp with the mentor where all issues regarding week’s work shall be discussed and knowledge regarding grammar, skills, visualization and other related syllabus matters shall be conveyed and communicated.

The process shall be repeated again next week and every week for 150 weeks, for the “Diploma in Fine Arts” students. The progress shall be planned in 6 semesters of 6 months each, in accordance to our SYLLABUS. For “Professional Certificate Course” students, classes shall be in same format but focus will be on teaching what the students want to learn and also on the basic skills of Fine Arts (Namely Modules 1 to 4) of our main Syllabus.

Students of “Diploma in Fine Arts” program shall also receive various articles and video content during the 150 weeks to aid your learning and understanding of concepts and theoretical aspects of the course.

Students of “Certificate Course” can also apply for “Diploma in Fine Arts” certificate through Examination and evaluation after completing the syllabus and at least 200 weeks (4 years) of learning and participating in at least 8 events (for Indian Residents only) organized by Anthelion School of Art.

DIFFERENCE OF TWO COURSES: ADDITIONAL FEATURES OF DIPLOMA PROGRAM

While “Professional Certificate Course” is a general learning program, which can keep on going for undefined period of time and certificate may be collected after a simple evaluation after completing at least One Year of Break-free Learning, the “Diploma in Fine Arts” is systematic syllabus driven program of 3 years (6 semesters of 6 months each) that provides the students with knowledge equivalent to any University based Bachelor in Fine Arts program with the the following additional facilities –

1. “Diploma in Fine Arts” certificate.
2. Complete Semester-wise, Syllabus-centric learning.
3. Access to all our Study Materials & Learning Videos.
4. (For Indian Students only) All events free* & Compulsory (for Exhibitions) during the course duration and access to all our events thereafter on cost basis for lifetime.

No Breaks are possible in Diploma in Fine Arts program.

EVALUATION & RECEIVING CERTIFICATE:

Professional Certificate Course:

After completing minimum of One Year of Break Free learning and at least TWO Exhibitions (or other events) organized by Anthelion School of Art, students of Professional Certificate program, whenever they feel they need the certificate, they can apply for evaluation and based on the evaluation, they get a “Professional Certificate in Fine Arts” from Anthelion School of Art. Learning and classes may continue even after collecting the certificate. Cost of evaluation & certificate – ₹ 1,000/- + GST.

Diploma in Fine Arts:

There will be two evaluations, at the end of Year 1 and Year 2 which shall be planned and conducted by the mentor in his/her format and results will be provided to us to be considered in the final certificate.

After the completion of the 150 weeks (6th Semester), the student will apply for the examination by filling the form and we shall conduct a customized test for the student that will consist of –

1. Theory Examination – 30 marks
2. Practical Examination – 40 marks
3. Project & Viva – 30 marks

At the end, we shall aggregate the final marks based on the following formula –

1. Evaluation 1 – 10% (to be conducted after Year 1)
2. Evaluation 2 – 10% (to be conducted after Year 2)
3. Event Evaluation – 10% (Marking through Grade system, over the event participation).
4. Final Exam (Theory + Practical + Project & Viva) – 70%

The final certification will be based on the following performance –

1. Marks Obtained – 96 & above – Distinction with Gold Medal (Ex)
2. Marks Obtained – 91 to 95 – Distinction (A+)
3. Marks Obtained – 81 to 90 – First Class (A)
4. Marks Obtained – 71 to 80 – Second Class (B+)
5. Marks Obtained – 61 to 70 – Third Class (B)
6. Marks Obtained – 51 to 60 – Average Pass (C)
7. Marks Obtained – 31 to 50 – Pass (D)
8. Marks Obtained – 30 or below – Fail (F)

Soft Copy of the Certificate shall be emailed and hard copy shall be couriered within 30 days of declaration of result.

OTHER FACILITIES:

All students participating in Online Courses shall get the same benefits and value as classroom courses. The syllabus and mentors are the same. They too shall get the opportunities to participate in all our Exhibitions, Workshops, Competitions and other Programs.

FEES & PAYMENT:

Professional Certificate Course:

The fee structure for PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM is as follows –

Course Fees (for Indian Students) –

1. Annual Payment – of ₹ 18,000 /- + GST, for a year (Total 50 classes to be completed within a full calendar year).
2. Monthly payment mode – Admission Fees – ₹ 3,000/- + GST; Tuition Fees – ₹ 2,000 /- + GST per month.
3. All monthly Payment system has to be registered through eNACH (Bank EMI).
4. Evaluation & Certificate Fees (Professional Certificate) – ₹ 1,000/- + GST.
5. Evaluation & Certificate Fees (Diploma) – ₹ 10,000/- + GST.

Course Fees (for International** Students) –

1. Annual Payment – of USD 540, for a year (Total 50 classes to be completed within a full calendar year).
2. Monthly payment mode – Admission Fees – USD 50; Tuition Fees – USD 45 per month*.
3. Evaluation & Certificate Fees (Professional Certificate) – USD 20.
4. Evaluation & Certificate Fees (Diploma) – USD 120.

GST of 18% shall apply on all bills, invoices and Payments for Indian Students.

*Please note that for monthly payment mode, our payment cycle is 1st of the month to the last day of the calendar month. So if you are taking admission in the middle of the month, then you have to pay ₹ 5,000/-+ GST (3,000 for Admission Fees & 2,000 + GST for first month tuition fees) or USD 95**, at the time of admission and the fees in the SECOND months shall be adjusted for the weeks you miss in admission month. Then from Month Three it shall be a normal Monthly Tuition Fees of ₹ 2,000/- + GST.

All monthly tuition fees to be paid in the first week of the month.

Late Fine Rules:

• Payment within Due Date (7th of calendar month) – No Fine
• Payment between 8th and 15th of calendar month – ₹ 100/- fine
• Payment between 16th and 20th of calendar month – ₹ 250/- fine
• Payment between 21st and end of calendar month – ₹ 500/- fine

For international students, late fine after missing the 7th of the month deadline will be USD 1/day**.

If payment is not received within the 30^th of the month, registration shall get cancelled and readmission with ₹ 500/- + GST or USD 25** will be required.

Diploma in Fine Arts:

The fee structure for DIPLOMA IN FINE ARTS is as follows –

Course Fees (for Indian Students) –

1. Total course fees – ₹ 1,50,000/- + GST = ₹ 1,77,500/- (Payable in 3 parts)
2. Payment Structure – The entire fees has to be paid in an annual manner in 3 parts – Year 1 – ₹ 59,000/-; Year 2 – ₹ 59,000/-; Year 3 – ₹ 59,000/-.

GST of 18% shall apply on all bills, invoices and payments.

Course Fees (for International** Students) –

1. Total course fees – USD 5100 (Payable in 3 parts)
2. Payment Structure – The entire fees has to be paid in an annual manner in 3 parts – Year 1 – $1,700/-; Year 2 – $1,700/-; Year 3 – $1,700/-.

Course Duration & Purpose of Kid’s Art Classes –

Age 8-11+ years – Purpose – Curiosity, Basic Concept & Understanding, Balanced Right (Creative) brain & Left (Logical) brain development, Application development, knowledge, skill and physical development in synchronization with creative development of mind, introduction to Fine Arts – 150 weeks program (3 years).

The same course is available in both Classroom & Online Mode for kids of this age group. The following syllabus and course duration shall be followed.

The process shall be repeated again next week and every week for 2 years. The progress shall be planned in accordance to our SYLLABUS.

For all our following classroom programs, we have THREE slots per day, from Thursday to Sunday – 11 am to 1 pm, 2pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. GST of 18% is applicable on all bills, invoices and payments.

Kids of age 8 to 11+ years of age, follow the Junior Diploma Program and the Junior Syllabus and School Students of age 12+ to 17+ follow the Intermediate Diploma Program and the Intermediate Syllabus. This course is now for students of 18 years and above.

Certificate Course: General Diploma (General Classes) 

• Guideline – Art Classes based on our syllabus, with focus on Module 1 to 4, but eventually covering the entire syllabus.
• Number of weekly classes – minimum 1 per week, 4 (or 5) per month. Students can choose maximum 2 per week.
• Duration – No Exact duration – depends on the student (Minimum One Year Break-free. Tentative 4 years).
• Certificate – On application for a professional participation certificate, it may be issued after evaluation, post the completion of at least One Year Break-free learning and participation in at least 2 events organized by Anthelion School of Art. Learning may continue even after receiving the certificate. Cost of evaluation & certificate –  ₹ 1,000/- + GST
• Diploma in Fine Arts (option) – Students of this course can also get “Diploma in Fine Arts” in general category, if they complete at least 4 years (or 200 classes), 3 workshops and 3 Exhibitions organized by Anthelion School of Art. The can apply for Diploma in Fine Arts Exam by paying an Examination Fees of ₹ 10,000/- + GST.
• Events – All events organized by Anthelion School of Art are (in principle) compulsory.
• Annual Payment – of ₹ 25,000 /- + GST, for a year (Total 50 classes to be completed within a full calendar year).
• Quarterly Payment mode – Admission Fees – ₹ 2,000/- + GST; Tuition Fees – ₹ 6,600 /- + GST per quarter.
• Monthly payment mode – Admission Fees – ₹ 3,000/- + GST; Tuition Fees – ₹ 2,500 /- + GST per month.
• Max Two Classes per week are allowed, then admission fees shall be doubled.

Professional Diploma in Fine Arts: Three Years (Normal) Program.

• Guideline – Art Classes fully based on our syllabus.
• Number of weekly classes – 1 per week, 4 (or 5) per month. Class on chosen slot only.
• Special Classes – students may choose 2 extra special classes per month, for any mentor they want, based on pre-booking (as per availability). This is other than the scheduled weekly slots. Cannot be carried over to next month.
• Duration – Exact duration of 3 years. (6 Semesters of 6 month each – No Breaks allowed).
• Diploma Certificate – Evaluation at the end of Year 1 and Year 2. Grading on events (workshops & exhibitions). After completion of 3 years – Proper Examination with Project & Viva, Theory & Practical Exam (Description below in General Certification Program Section).
• Events – All Events are Compulsory & Free*
• Total Course Fees – ₹ 1,50,000/- + GST = ₹ 1,77,000/- (Payable in 3 units).
• Payment Structure – The entire fees has to be paid in an annual manner in 3 parts – Year 1 – ₹ 59,000/-; Year 2 – ₹ 59,000/-; Year 3 – ₹ 59,000/-.

• Special Classes – students may choose 24 extra special classes throughout the course duration, for any mentor they want, based on pre-booking (as per availability). This is other than the scheduled slots.

• Diploma Certificate – Evaluation at the end of Semester 1. Grading on events (workshops & exhibitions). After completion of 2nd Semester – Proper Examination with Project & Viva, Theory & Practical Exam (Description below in General Certification Program Section).

At the end we shall aggregate the final marks based on the following formula –

1. Evaluation 1 – 20% (to be conducted after Semester 1)
2. Events Performance – 10% (from aggregate of all events marked with grades, considered over 2 events – 1 workshop and 1 exhibitions during the course). Only events organized by Anthelion School of Art will be considered.
3. Final Exam (Theory + Practical + Project & Viva) – 70%

Difference Between Professional Certification Course & Diploma Programs:

While “Certificate Course” is a general learning program, which can keep on going for undefined period of time and certificate may be collected after a simple evaluation after completing at least One Year of Break-free Learning, the “Diploma in Fine Arts” is systematic syllabus driven program that provides the students with knowledge equivalent to any University based Bachelor in Fine Arts program with the the following additional facilities –

1. “Diploma in Fine Arts” certificate.
2. Complete Syllabus centric learning.
3. Access to all our Study Materials & Learning Videos.
4. Extra & free Classroom sessions (based on your choice) during the course period as mentioned in above respective sections.
5. All events free* & compulsory during the course duration and access to all our events thereafter on cost basis for lifetime.

No Breaks are possible in Diploma in Fine Arts programs.

Crash Courses:

• Customized crash courses as per student’s need at ₹ 625 + GST per class on Modules, Mediums or Subjects chosen by the student. Buy classes in Batches (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 24).
• Basic Calligraphy course is available as a Crash Course of 25 classes. ₹ 15,000/- + GST for whole Package.
• Pay & Paint individual classes also available at (₹ 750 + GST)/class for a Two Hour Art Experience.

GENERAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (GCP)

Besides the above 4 kinds of courses, Anthelion School of Art also provides “Diploma in Fine Arts” as a “General Certification Program” for all artists who does not want to learn here but wants to just apply for the test and get the certificate. So, if you are an artist who have learned and practiced Fine Arts anywhere in the world and you are in need of a CERTIFICATE, you may apply for the GENERAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (GCP).

First you have to “Register”. Then you shall be provided 6 weeks of time to prepare (Applicant’s choice) and align yourself with our “Syllabus“. You may also undertake crash course for this from our school at a separate cost. After that you shall have a “Theory” & a “Practical” test. On clearing the test you shall be allotted a project, the topic of which shall be mutually decided between you and our Exam Committee. Finally on completion of the project and submission of the final Art-Work & Project Report, there shall be a Viva-Voice and on clearing that, you will receive your Diploma in Fine Arts certificate.

The final certification will be based on the following performance –

1. Marks Obtained – 96 & above – Distinction with Gold Medal (Ex)
2. Marks Obtained – 91 to 95 – Distinction (A+)
3. Marks Obtained – 81 to 90 – First Class (A)
4. Marks Obtained – 71 to 80 – Second Class (B+)
5. Marks Obtained – 61 to 70 – Third Class (B)
6. Marks Obtained – 51 to 60 – Average Pass (C)
7. Marks Obtained – 31 to 50 – Pass (D)
8. Marks Obtained – 30 or below – Fail (F)

Soft Copy of the Certificate shall be emailed and hard copy shall be couriered within 30 days of declaration of result.

The total cost of this GCP is ₹ 25,000/- +GST of which 100% is to be paid in advance at the time of registration.

In case you fail at any level, you may repeat from that point ONLY one more time, within 12 months from the date of registration with an additional fees of Rs 1,250/- + GST.

Professional Certificate Program / Diploma Programs / Crash Courses

Terms, Conditions & Rules – regarding Attendance, Payment and Make-up classes.

Effective from 15^th December 2023.

Payment Rules:

1. All payments are pre-paid and non-refundable.
   1. General Certificate Course (GCS):
      1. Annual Payment – ₹ 25,000/-* + GST (Total 50 classes to be completed within a full calendar year)
      2. Monthly Payment – Admission Fees – ₹ 3,000/-* + GST. Tuition Fees – ₹ 2,500 + GST / Month, for 1 class per week. (Max 2 classes per week is allowed).
      3. All monthly Payment system has to be registered through eNACH (Bank EMI).
   2. Diploma in Fine Arts – 3 Years (6 Semesters)- Full Course – ₹ 1,77,000/-* + GST
   3. Diploma in Fine Arts – 1 Year (2 Semesters)- Full Course – ₹ 1,47,500/-* + GST
   4. Junior Diploma (age 8 to 11+) – ₹ 6,000 / Quarter or ₹ 18,000/Year.
   5. Intermediate Diploma (age 12+ to 17+) – ₹ 7,500 / Quarter or₹ 27,000 / Year.
   6. Short Term Courses (including Calligraphy) – ₹ 15,000/-* + GST (25 Class Package).
   7. Crash Courses – ₹ 625/- *+ GST per class for the entire set of classes to be paid before joining (Min 8 Class (₹ 5,000/- + GST) Package).
   8. Pay & Paint classes – ₹ 750* + GST / class.
2. All students must define whether they are joining for Hobby / Diploma at the time of Admission, for GCS Program.
3. For Certificate Program and Diploma Programs, regular classes will be on fixed slots only, which are to be chosen by the student at the time of admission (can be changed later subject to availability). For Crash Courses and Pay & Paint programs, this does not apply.
4. Monthly Tuition fees (for each Calendar Month) to be paid by the 7^th of every Calendar Month.
5. If Due date (7^th of Calendar Month) is missed, a late fine of ₹ 100 shall be imposed if payment is made within 8^th to 15^th of the month, ₹250/- shall be imposed if payment is made within 16^th to 20^th of the month and ₹500/- shall be imposed if payment is made within 21^st to end of the month.
6. For Diploma Programs, if Due date (last day of the running semester) is missed, a late fine of ₹ 100/day shall be imposed. No Breaks are possible in Diploma in Fine Arts program.
7. No Gaps are allowed in Payment Cycle. If payment is not received within the 30^th of the month, registration shall get cancelled and readmission with ₹ 500 + GST/- will be required.
8. All art materials to be sold on spot payment in cash only. No Credits Please.

Attendance, Absence, Make-up Classes & Re-joining:

1. We request our students to stick to their registered scheduled slots. We also request our students to be on time, reach the class at least 5 min before schedule to settle and start the class on time.
2. If a student is unable to attend his/her class, he/she must inform the Centre Manager at least 2 hours prior to the class/slot schedule time. It is Student’s responsibility to inform in time, or else the class will be considered as consumed. Informing within 2 hours will not be acceptable.
3. A student must undertake his/her 4 (or 5) classes in each calendar month on his/her own responsibility. If the student is unable to attend his/her scheduled slot, it would be his/her responsibility to coordinate with the centre manager and adjust in any other slot based on availability within the same Calendar Month or latest by the 15th of the next Calendar Month. After that the unutilized class shall lapse. IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY.
4. Make-up classes shall not accumulate or carried forward beyond the scheduled date. Once the scheduled date is over, unutilized classes are lapsed. So, it is student’s personal responsibility to consume his/her scheduled classes in a Calendar Month.
5. All Make-up / Adjusted classes will need booking by prior appointments.
6. We cannot guarantee same mentor in the Make-up / Adjusted classes.
7. For Diploma Program (3 Years), special classes if unutilized, cannot be carried forward to next month by any means.
8. For Certificate & Diploma Courses, all Events organized by Anthelion School of Art are compulsory. While events that are organized by others and our students are invited, can be chosen by the students to participate.
9. Students can apply for pre-informed absence (with at least 10 days prior intimation) for defined period with full timely payment of fees. In such cases we shall provide 30 – 60 days of time from re-joining to make-up the missed classes.
10. Any student who want to take a break or wants to stop classes totally must inform us more than 30 days prior. Otherwise the student will be liable to pay the fees for the month he/she informs us regarding discontinuation.
11. Anthelion School of Art reserves the right to admission or cancel a registration if it deems required with or without providing any reason whatsoever for its said action.

As a student you undertake to not approach any of the Mentors or Teachers of Anthelion School of Art personally and try to learn from him or her outside the arrangements and infrastructure of Anthelion School of Art for a period of 3 years from the date of signing this document. Breach of this term will invite legal action.
